I have been on the phone with overstock for 43 minutes and counting, as usual I am on hold!!!! My hand is asleep from holding the phone and I am typing with one hand. I went through some of my phone records online ( I have Vonage, so I can see the list of all the calls I have made and the length of them.54minutes now I am in tears litterally!!
Katie from Illinois, Skittle somebody please pm me.
How on earth did you get a refund from this awful company!!!!!!!!
I actually just hung up now from talking to a supervisor and got absolutely nowhere, the same as last week, they will contact the wharehouse and I will recieve an email in 1-2 business days and still no refund!!!!
I can't believe I paid for a doll, I never got!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
I am in shock, no refund and more waiting, she said they need more time, well it's been a month almost!!!!!!

Have you contacted your credit card company? That's what I'd do next.

Thank you for reminding me, I think you or someone else here had suggested that last week.
You are soo right and I will do that!!! I am so sick of wasting time and getting nowhere!!!
Kinda silly over 14 bucks, but I just feel it is so wrong on overstocks part!!!

I am so sorry you are going through this.
I actually didn't get a refund. They told me I would get one and then shipped the dolls.
So I did actually get my dolls.
I don't know what to tell you other than call your credit card company now. You might even consider contacting a legislator or someone who can help you deal with interstate commerce. A BBB won't be able to do anything, because they aren't local.
I've always been very happy with overstock in the past, but after hearing this, I don't think I will be shopping with them again.

I thought I had stumbled upon this the other day, but just went to overstock.com to make sure - they are claiming to have both the mini Felicity and the mini Elizabeth in stock.

Because I pre-ordered them so long ago, I don't think I actually got a refund. I tried to look up my bank statements and credit card statements online but couldn't find it. As soon as I called them about the mix-up and they told me they were sold out of the Felicity mini that I didn't get, I was so focused on getting the doll I forgot all about the refund. I just darted over to amazon and placed an order through them.
I plan on placing all future orders of this sort through amazon even if overstock is cheaper, which I'm now learning is not always the case. The guy on the phone did not even try to get me back as a customer when I told them they lost me as a customer.
The problem is I don't think anyone at overstock is even aware of what happened because their records don't match what we actually got(and didn't get). They still think we both got our dolls. I gave up too quickly, I guess.
Right now, I'm more concerned about the Telemarketing mess-up I just went through. They charged my debit card(which bounced to my credit card because I didn't have the $ to pay for whatever they charged me for), and now I have to come up with $400!

Sorry to hear about that Katie!!!
That is awful!!!! I would be more worried about the $400 than a $14 doll too!!!!
I hope you turn out ok in your situation!!
